2、chemical properties
Basic zinc carbonate is synthesized from zinc sulfate and soda ash. Its chemical properties determine that in different application fields, it has the functions of accelerating sulfurization, removing hydrogen sulfide and sterilizing.
The production process of the company adopts sulfuric acid soda method. The product is white in color, with excellent fluidity and stable physical and chemical properties; the process flow is: rough leaching - primary oxidation - primary replacement - secondary oxidation - Secondary replacement. High quality raw and auxiliary materials, multi-stage impurity removal process, first-class equipment and top technology ensure the purity of zinc sulfate solution. The company adopts national standard high-grade soda ash, after dissolving, heating and pressure filtration, it ensures that the soda ash is clean and free of impurities. Starting from the synthesis of zinc carbonate, the reaction conditions were controlled by various means to ensure the formation of basic zinc carbonate particles in a controllable state; after synthesis, rinsing, solid-liquid separation of diaphragm filter press, air drying, particle size grading, and packaging after passing the vibrating screen, all the equipment were fully automatic controlled by 304 stainless steel. The high performance and stability of the product are ensured from the process and equipment. The inlet gas of flash drying of natural gas is processed by filter to avoid black spots of the product. The product has good fluidity and high specific surface area at the same time.
3. Application
Basic zinc carbonate is used as skin protection agent in medicine, zinc supplement in feed and synthesis of high purity zinc stearate.
It can also be used as desulfurizer and pore forming agent in catalyst industry. In rubber products, because the refractive index of zinc carbonate is close to that of rubber, it is specially used as transparent rubber products and EVA foaming accelerator
